Terroir

The Sintra and Colares region boasts a unique terroir, the result of the interaction between different soil types, the strong Atlantic influence, and the peculiar microclimate created by the Sintra Mountains. This mountain range acts as a natural barrier, moderating humidity and temperature, generating microclimatic variations that influence viticulture. These factors not only determine the identity of the region's wines but also profoundly shape the landscape.

Quinta da Azenha

Quinta da Azenha has witnessed important political and historical decisions in our country and is the main home of Infinitude wines.

Nestled in the bucolic foothills of the Serra, on the slopes of Monserrate, the property, covering approximately 5 hectares, is surrounded by gardens and vineyards, protected from the Atlantic winds.

Due to the unique microclimate of this location, influenced by the Sintra Mountains and its proximity to the Atlantic, the main grape varieties chosen were two classic French varieties from very different regions: Merlot, traditional in the Bordeaux region, and Pinot Noir, the queen of Burgundy. Planted in 2000, it was an original and unorthodox choice. Only later came the whites.

Casalinho

Surrounded by pine, cork oak, cedar, and eucalyptus trees, the vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate, where the influence of the resinous and balsamic compounds of these trees contributes to wines with aromatic freshness and minty notes. 0.5 hectares planted in 2000 with the Merlot variety.

Torrado

This vineyard is characterized by greater sun exposure and dry soils. The ideal environment for balanced ripening, resulting in structured wines with good aromatic concentration typical of Sintra's terroir. Approximately two hectares were planted in 2019 with Chardonnay, Semillon, Riesling, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.

Banagás - Dry Beach Vineyard

Surrounded by forest on sandy soils, free of phylloxera, without rootstock, and just a short distance from the steep cliffs of Colares, the wines combine all the characteristics of continental Europe's westernmost terroir. One hectare of vineyards planted in 2020 with Malvasia and Ramisco varieties.

Penedo

A small Semillon vineyard nestled in a unique landscape surrounded by pine, cork oak, cedar, and eucalyptus trees, at an altitude of approximately 100 meters.
